What do we offer?

We provide quality excavation and site works at an affordable price to help your project last longer over time; we have experience in all plant equipment and labour to make the job easy for our clients. We supply site cuts for newly constructed homes for foundations and extensions from site preparation for paths and driveway construction.

Here at Luciano Concrete we have you sorted on earthworks from start to finish, from the initial cut and fill which is required for your project, to the installation and compaction of PM-20 rubble sub-grade. From excavation of footings to removal of soil, we do it all.

The process

The process of excavation and site works for our base prep found on every quote for new build driveways and paths involves:

  1. The use of a bobcat and excavator to cut the site and remove all the unclean fill that builders tend to build up over the duration of the build.
  2. Once this is done, we bring in quality PM20 rubble and spread it all over the areas that require concrete and compact it using a plate compactor and the bobcat.

In doing so this reassures a strong firm base for the new construction of your concrete. This ensures a longer lifetime so that your concrete is less likely to crack within your slab and prevent it from moving up and down.

Pricing

  • Ask us for a free quote via email or in-person Typically our clients will send us their architectural plans and engineering plans via email if the job is for a new build. However if you don't have one, feel free to discuss your needs with us.
  • We create a quote for you Our pricing is calculated from a variety of ways including location of job, access we have whether that includes a concrete pump or if wheelbarrows are required in order to place the concrete where the job is required.
  • Receive our quote If you send us your site plans and master plans, we can typically come back to you with a quote within 1-3 days without you having to step foot onsite.
  • Agreement and onsite visit Once you as the customer is happy with the quote, an onsite visit will be scheduled in to confirm the measurements and soil amounts needed to be removed for your new driveway and path construction.
  • Start and pay throughout We work off of deposit and progress payments to ensure our company and the client are both safe.

  • What is base prep?
    Base prep is a crucial stage involving the removal of any unclean fill and digging out of your concreting job to ensure the right depth is acquired, once digging is finished then a rubble base is laid and compacted to ensure a firm base.
  • Do we need a rubble base?
    Although a rubble base isn’t compulsory we always recommend it. We understand some clients are working with a tight budget but it is definitely worth adding.
  • What are the benefits of a rubble base?
    A compacted rubble base can create a longer lifetime for your concrete. The better the base the concrete is laid on, the less likely cracking and movement will occur.
